Accessibility Improvements Completed at Ossington TTC Subway Station

TTC working to renovate all subway stations by 2025 to satisfy Ont. deadline Justin Greaves/Metroland

Ossington is the latest TTC subway station to complete accessibility improvements.

The station now has two elevators leading from the concourse to either subway platform, sliding automated doors, better signage, plus upgrades to the bus bay. The station also has Presto fare gates which were installed last year.

Council Restores City Videos Online

Archived videos of London city council and committee meetings will be restored to the city’s website and YouTube channel.

In a special council meeting held Friday afternoon, councillors unanimously voted in favour of staff re-posting the videos, which were removed earlier this week over fears they violated the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
